3, the gate plate is a rectangular parallel plate, which opens a pass hole with the same diameter as the channel (with diversion hole), also does not open the hole (without the diversion hole), the entire opening, the channel smooth is the straight pipe segment, the flow resistance coefficient is low, the pressure loss is small, opens and closes when the gate and the valve seat always mutually touches, can wipe the particulate dirt which attaches in the seal pair, The sealing surface can be protected by the direct erosion of the medium.

Features of flat Gate valves:

1. VALVE SEAT sealing structure should be elastic with preload, upstream and downstream sealing block at the same time the structure of sealing. The valve seat and the sealing material are always sealed between the face.

2. The seat has self-cleaning function and is not directly washed by airflow during valve opening or closing. The seat shall be made of a lubricating, not worn material.

3. Valve actuator failure will not affect other parts of the valve, maintenance and replacement work can be carried out without removing the valve.

(1) Yoke bushing – aluminum bronze yoke bushing with pin-type thrust bearings, minimizes operating torque.

The valve body has two kinds of casting and welding structure.

The gate with the guide hole valve, whether it is fully open or full closed with the seal surface, the sealing surface is protected from the medium direct scouring, thus prolonging the service life.

When the valve is fully open, the channel smooth to straight line, the flow resistance coefficient is very small, without pressure loss, can pass the wool ball to sweep the pipeline.

The plate gate valve adopts the packing structure with self sealing ability, need not adjust frequently, open, close is very light, and seal is reliable, the stuffing function is equipped with auxiliary seal grease inject structure, the sealing performance is absolutely reliable, truly achieves 0 leaks;

When the valve is closed, the inner cavity high pressure can be unloaded automatically (see Working schematic diagram) to ensure the use of safety.

Fully closed structure, good protection performance, can adapt to all-weather requirements.

The valve is provided with an indicator bar or an observation window to indicate the opening and closing of the valve.
