First, the installation must pay attention to check

1. Carefully check the valve model, specifications to meet the requirements of the drawings.

2. Check valve stem and disc open whether flexible, there is no jammed and skew phenomenon.

3. Check the valve for damage, thread valve thread is correct and intact.

4. Check the seat and body of the combination is firm, disc and seat, bonnet and valve body, valve stem and disc connection.

5. Check the valve pad, filler and fasteners (bolts) are suitable for the nature of the requirements of the work medium.

6. The old or the use of longer pressure relief valve should be demolished, dust, sand and other sundries must be cleaned with water.

7. Clear through the mouth cover, check the seal degree, the disc must close tightly.

Ii. attention to the general provisions of installation

1. The position of the valve installation should not hinder the operation, disassembly and overhaul of the equipment, piping and valve body, taking into account the appearance of the assembly.

2. Horizontal pipe valve, valve stem facing up installation, or tilt to a certain angle of installation, not hand wheel down to install. The valve, stem and handwheel on the high altitude pipe can be installed horizontally, with the chain of the vertical and lower distance to control the opening and closing of the valve.

3. Arranged symmetrical, neat and beautiful, the valve on the vertical tube, under the premise of the process, the valve handwheel is the most suitable operation, generally to the 1.0-1.2m from the ground, and the stem must be installed along the operator's direction.

4. The valve on the side of the vertical tube, the center line elevation of the best consistent, and the net distance between the handwheel is not less than 100mm; the valves on a side-by-level pipeline should be staggered to reduce the pipe spacing.

5. In the pump, heat exchanger and other equipment installation heavier valve, should be set valve bracket, in the operation is frequent and installed in the distance from the operating surface of more than 1.8m valve, should set a fixed operating platform.

6. The valve body of the valve has an arrow mark, the arrow pointing is the direction of the flow of the medium. When installing valves, be aware that the arrows point to the same media flow in the pipe.

7. The installation of flange valves, should ensure that the two flange end of the parallel and concentric, should not use double gaskets.

8. When installing threaded valves, a threaded valve should be fitted with a live connection for easy disassembly. The installation of the live connection should consider the convenience of overhaul, usually the water flow first through the valve after the live connection.

Third, note the following small details

1. Valve body materials used in cast iron production, brittle, it is not subject to heavy impact.

2. When handling the valve, do not allow to throw, lifting, hoisting the valve, the rope should be fastened on the valve body, is not tied to the handwheel, stem and flange bolt holes.

3. Valves should be installed in the operation, maintenance and repair of the most convenient place, is strictly prohibited buried in the ground. The valve on the pipe of direct burying and trench shall be provided with a check well chamber for the purpose of opening and closing the valve and adjusting.

4. Should ensure that the thread intact, and on the thread of hemp, rub lead oil or wrapped PTFE raw material belt, rotary buckle, need wrench stuck into the pipe at one end of the hexagon valve body.

5. When installing the flange valve, note that the connection bolts are screwed along the diagonal direction, and the force should be even when it is screwed to prevent the gasket from running or causing the deformation and damage of the valve body.

6. The valve should be kept closed when it is installed. For the threaded valve near the wall, the installation often needs to remove the stem disc and handwheel in order to twist. The disassembly should be done when the valve is opened by the screwing hands wheel.
